Jackie Beckman is the current District 45 Chair from Makaha-Waianae and she comes from a family of Republicans. Jackie was appointed as the Presidential Caucus 2024 Coordinator and worked alongside the Honolulu County Chair, Honolulu Site Chairs and Hawaii State Executive Committee. Jackie volunteered for many events within the Republican Party recently where she was the Mistress of Ceremonies for both the Annual Prince Kuhio Celebration and Campaign Announcement for Senate District 22 Candidate Teri Savaiinaea. Jackie registered as a College Republican at the University of Hawaii where she earned her BA in English, later a Master's Degree in Special Education. She has helped campaign for past candidates such as State Senator Fred Hemmings and Governor Linda Lingle. Jackie's focus will be primarily on being a liaison between the RNC and HRP platforms, ensuring harmonious collaboration with sincere professionalism between auxiliaries and rejuvenating membership to promote candidacy in our local and national elections.
Aloha, Hawaii Republican Party Delegates.
Some of you may know me, others may not, so please allow me to introduce myself. I am Mark
Jones, the current East Hawaii County Chairman. Prior to becoming County Chair, I served as
District 3 Chair & Precinct 5 Committeeman, and before that, Vice Chair of District 4.
I have been a resident of Hawaii since 1984. In that time, as a contractor and gemologist, my
wife and I raised 6 beautiful daughters.
I am running for National Committeeman because Hawaii needs a full-time committed National
Committeeman, one that represents Hawaii's Republican voters and the HRP. One that makes it
a priority to show up to all RNC meetings and gatherings, joining the necessary committees that
benefit and maximize Hawaii's participation at the National level, then reporting back to the HRP
executive and state committee all messages and information gained.
National Committee Members also serve as party leaders, including advisor, implementer,
fundraiser, moderator, motivator, counselor, and activist. Committee members vote on proposals
and maintain essential business, submit resolutions, and review and interpret RNC rules.
Members are leaders and are a reflection of the National and local party and are expected to be respectful and professional.
Commitment to Conservative Principles: I am unwavering in my commitment to protecting our individual freedoms, demanding free and fair elections, protecting our families and children from harmful progressive policies and preserving America’s sovereignty! I will work tirelessly to uphold these principles within the Republican Party, both here in Hawaii and at the national level.
Proven Leadership: With years of experience in grassroots organizing and party leadership, I have demonstrated my ability to unite Republicans and drive meaningful change. As National Committeewoman, I gathered together with a "working group" on Election Integrity made up of all 5 County Chairs and other EI activists in our state and ultimately sued Hawaii’s Chief Executive Officer Scott Nago, on behalf of HRP, for his violations of Hawaii’s election laws. I successfully organized young conservative across our state to form the first national charter of Hawaii Young Republicans in our state. I have been in service to our party, supporting and serving alongside nine State Chairs and innumerable executive committee members in just under 4 years. I remain steadfast in my commitment to serve and represent our members with integrity and courage. I am have been told by members at the national and state level they find me to be forthright, and fair. I will continue to work hard to strengthen our party from the ground up.
Effective Advocacy: I have a solid track record of advocating for Republican policies and candidates at the local, state, and national levels. I was an outspoken voice for our party's priorities, voting for change at the top of the RNC in 2023. I secured a commitment of up to $50,000 from the RNC to support HRP’s legal battle against Hawaii’s Chief Elections Officer Scot Nago and am proud to say that once in court, he was forced to admit to violating Hawaii audit statutes. I have co-sponsored the following critical resolutions that have been adopted by the RNC:
I will continue advocating to ensure that your values are heard and respected within the GOP while also continuing to advocate and support our local party and our candidates. As someone who has canvassed doors, dropped literature, waved signs, made phone calls, attended fundraisers and personally contributed financial support to every Republican legislator that currently sits in office, I am proud to see that our representation at our state level is on the rise! Electing more Republicans is our primary mission and I look forward to continuing my support of their hard work in any way I am able!
Vision for the Future: As we look ahead to the challenges and opportunities facing our party, I will work collaboratively with fellow Republicans to heal the divide within the party, expand our base, win elections, and advance conservative solutions to the issues that matter most.
I humbly ask for your vote for Republican National Committeewoman. Together, we can strengthen the Republican Party and uphold the values that make America - and the Aloha State - an exceptional place to call home!
GENE DELIVERS LEADERSHIP WITH RESULTS:
Rep. Ward saved Hawaii Taxpayers millions of dollars by introducing a House of Representatives Floor Amendment to delay the Salary Commission's Salary increases by one year that forced the Democrats to vote for a two-year delay. Rep. Ward continues to serve on the House Finance Committee and with Taxpayers uppermost in his mind and has carried this same fiscal responsibility to the national level as your National Committeeman.
REP. WARD HAS HELPED SHAPE RNC’S NATIONAL POLICY:
Gene has been an active RNC member helping shape RNC policy statements by drafting and introducing resolutions that were debated and passed by the RNC’s 168 members. For example, at the height of the North Korean Missile crisis and false alarm he introduced a resolution requesting President Trump to meet Kim Jong Un for nuclear disarmament talks in Honolulu. He also introduced a resolution requesting increased missile defense capabilities for Hawaii, Guam, Saipan, and American Samoa to be protected from Kim Jong Un’s folly.
GENE HAS WORKED TO BRING HAWAII TO THE ATTENTION OF THE NATION AND SECURE
RESOURCES FOR CANDIDATES: He has worked closely with the RNC leadership to put Hawaii on the
map as well as its auxiliary organizations for both our party and our candidates. The Hawaii delegation also works closely with the Pacific Island members of the RNC, and he is the final stages of forming the first-ever Pacific Island Caucus in the State house.
HE HAS SUCCESSFULLY RECRUITED AND FUNDED REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES FOR OFFICE:
Gene wrote a Campaign Handbook and campaign plan and has been sharing it with candidates running for office since 2018. He also uses his campaign to fund other aspiring and qualified Republican candidates and helped for example Reps. Garcia, Alcos and Pierick in the 2020 elections. Also of note in a previous election cycle, Hawaii's election results were commended by the head of the RNC because Hawaii was the only State in the nation NOT to lose any Republican seats and actually gained a seat.
GENE IS A TEAM PLAYER: He assisted Hawaii's Trump leadership for Hawaii to become the first state in the nation to commit its entire state delegation to President Trump. He also serves on the RNC’s 2020 National Convention Committee on Arrangements as well as the RNC's Resolutions Committee.
SPEAKS REGULARLY WITH NATIONAL LEADERS FOR HAWAII’S BENEFIT: An example of this was his working with Alaska's NCM&NCW regarding their Governor’s (R) implementation of the COVID19 testing program 72 hours before arrival or get put into 14 day quarantine. This helped leveraged Ward's discussions with the Trump White House about our legislation to open our economy for the same purpose of putting our visitor industry employees back to work. Prior to this, Ward arranged for a member of the White House staff to brief our House Republican Caucus members at the State Capitol.
HE WORKED WELL WITH THE TRUMP WHITEHOUSE: and given the honor and opportunity to do so again as your NCM, he will make Hawaii proud again!
