Convention Details
We look forward to welcoming you to Kauai for the upcoming Hawaii Republican Party State Convention, scheduled for May 24th and May 25th, 2025, at the Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall.
This two-day event will be a pivotal moment to shape the party's leadership and bylaws for the years ahead.
Event Details:
- Dates: May 24–25, 2025
- Location: Kauai War Memorial Convention Hall, Kapaa, Hawaii
- Cost: $75 for two days (includes attendance, name tags, drinks, snacks, and reference materials)
Agenda:
- Day 1: Election of new state officers (see this page for reference)
- Day 2: Approval of rule changes and amendments to party bylaws.
Venue Information:
The convention will take place in the beautiful auditorium, where all official business, elections, and presentations will be conducted. Please note that no food or drinks are permitted inside the auditorium. Refreshments and a designated break area will be available in the main area of the venue.
Participation Guidelines:
- Delegates: Only certified delegates are eligible to vote.
- To become a delegate, you must be a registered member of the Hawaii Republican Party and elected or appointed by your county representatives.
- County delegate elections will occurred in February, with county conventions coming in March. Remaining seats will be filled through appointments as outlined in the County and State bylaws. For detailed eligibility requirements.
- Guests: Guests are welcome to attend and will have assigned seating, separate from the delegates.
This convention is an opportunity to collaborate, set priorities, and build a stronger party for the future. Further details will be shared as the event approaches.
Accommodations and transportation are at the expense of each delegate, alternate, member, and guests. Hosts may be available but limited.

Special Guest Speaker
We are honored to have Dr. Armstrong as our special guest speaker for the convention. Dr. Armstrong is the National Committeeman from Texas. He is also a practicing physician and the chair of the Faith Engagement Committee for the RNC. He lives in Texas with his wife and their four sons.
Convention Parliamentarian
The Hawaii Republican Party is excited to announce that the exceptionally skilled Parliamentarian, AL Gage, CPP, PRP, PAP, as our official 2025 Convention Parliamentarian. Al is the parliamentarian for the RNC and is the current President of the American Institute of Parliamentarians. He is qualified under both Roberts Rules of Order and The Standard Code.
